Social Scholarship is an education support initiative. It is designed for social impact. Many youths have dropped their dream of furthering their education after secondary school due to the fact that they are convinced that they have nobody to sponsor their higher education. Many already enrolled in the higher institutions are dropping out for lack of funding. We live in a country where there is no accessible scholarship as a social welfare. Any country without accessible scholarship as a social welfare is masterminding a great waste of human capital. In such country, brains of brilliant youths are wasted. I had the experience of the frustration of lack of funds for educational dream pursuit. It is an ugly experience especially when you have the intelligence and brilliance and burning with the desire to proceed to university after secondary school but are handicapped by lack of funds and sponsorship.
